Takashi Baba, CPA, received his B.A. degree in Economics in 1994, with an emphasis in accounting, from California State University, Los Angeles. His accounting experience at Kakimoto & Nagashima LLP started in January of 1996 when he joined Kakimoto and Co., and he has progressed professionally since then, achieving the level of partner in 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, he served as an accountant for a U.S. subsidiary of a major Japanese corporation.

Takashi is a member of the Japanese Business Association in Southern California, and currently manages and directs projects involving various Japanese-related companies. His primary areas of expertise is in dealing with various issues involving wholesale, retail, trading, import/export, freight forwarding, real estate and investment companies. Many clients have recognized and appreciated Takashi’s pragmatic, yet professional approach. He extends himself to understand client needs and obligations, always aiming to provide high quality service at a reasonable cost. He fosters a friendly, polite and courteous business atmosphere.

Takashi's favorite activities away from work include spending time and playing with his children and traveling around the world with his family.
